Who we are
National Plumbing Inspections (NPI) provides independent pre-handover plumbing inspections for new residential builds across Australia.
We work predominantly with volume and residential builders, carrying out comprehensive plumbing inspections before handover to help identify defects, blockages, leaks and installation issues before the keys are handed over to the homeowner.
Why builders use NPI
The idea behind NPI is to give builders another level of quality control at the end of the build, while also helping reduce avoidable plumbing call-backs after handover.
Our inspections cover the sewer, stormwater and internal plumbing throughout the home, all as one complete inspection package.
Reporting that works for your team
Following each inspection, the builder receives a detailed inspection report, including photos of any issues identified, along with the relevant CCTV footage and supporting files, which we provide together in a Dropbox folder.
Some builders choose to retain these reports internally for their own records and quality assurance, while others also include them in the handover pack for the homeowner, giving the client additional reassurance that the plumbing has been independently inspected prior to handover.
On site, before the keys change hands
We can work directly with site supervisors to coordinate access, plans and inspections, keeping the process as straightforward as possible for the wider construction team.
